Hello fellow ponies :D I'm here to suggest an idea for an cape. Yes you heard right an cape! The cape would get all staff team aswell people who are regulary active and got an status in the community. With the cape people could see we suport Athion and are members of the awesome community. I don't know how to make a cape or anything about it. Hope you like this idea and that it becomes someday real ;) *The cape would have an A on it with a brown base layer*
I don't exactly know if they can make one :/ But then again how is the Optifine cape made? It isn't an official mod or so :/ Meh I would love that pulls up some contacts and makes the cape <33 /)
Personally I have a Minecon cape so I have no need for one. The only problem I see with this is capes require player side mods to be installed. This would require all players to have this mod in order to see the capes.
You don't need for the Optifine Cape mods. It's not an official mojang cape but the guy who created optifine still managed to make one :/ I don't know. has some influence and sure some contacts to make it happen . /)
I have an OptiFine cape and I'd like to see this happen. It's interesting, sure there might be a few problems with side mods and what not but I'd like to see you go for it!
I'm pretty sure that you must have the Optifine or Cape mod in order to see those capes. Therefore you must have everyone download the mod in order to show the Athion cape. It is a cool idea though.
I know we got pro developers and know its easily done with there skill *If a staff thinks this could work mark it as important or sumin. No, they said they are not changing how minecraft functions or runs, unless they publish a new EULA the old one stands and we are abiding by it and future ones.
to see optifine capes you have to actually have optifine, it is a thing they have in their mod and it's what gets them money, but it isn't a mojang-supported thing; if you don't have optifine you dont see optifine capes :P
My idea would only break EULA if it was a donation item, and even so its not mechanic changing so as far as I'm concerned, and to the extent of my little knowledge, the EULA doesn't include my previous statement in the newly excluded activitys. -HippyBomb
EULA covers all current and past versions of minecraft, its not worth the time making a plugin for it on the server as if you want one get optifine.
Would it still break the EULA if you give the cape to s/a only? Assuming you could code it in without needing people to download a mod/etc. If not then not, still a nice idea.
If banners place on a persons head with /hat and show properly that could be a way without much issue, as i said we for now dont need capes
