Unnamed Sci Fi City Project

Hey all, in anticipation of the launch of Athion, I thought I'd mess around in an ssp world to see what I could come up with. So this is wat I came up with a realistic portrayal of a science fiction city.

I like the theme with it being a bit crossed, i'd go for Sci-Fi a bit more maybe

 

Thanks for the feedback, up to this point I only had the partial roof, holo sign and electronic road done, but I do understand that the sci fi is not as prominent as it should be.

 

triga id say the sci fi part is good as it is, as too much of either sci-fi or victorian aint good and imo youve found a good balance here. (thou when athion opens id like to take a good look at some bigger version of these to learn more sci-fi types(i recommend getting a pmc account to get more and better feedback))

 

Looks pretty awesome so far Triga, it seems alot of athion members are going big on sci-fi, and this sure stands out, id love to see more.

So I say: Go for it man!

@gro9988 Yeah I'll definitly make some sci fi skyscrapers/public buildings in a more sci fi-ish style, And I'll make a PMC account once Athion goes live.

@Lilgeeza Thanks! Haven't seen any other A-members (yeah I'm calling us that now, as a pun on the A-team) make any sci fi yet. Ah well.

I'm suprised no one has said anything about my fancy road yet.

Interesting. Looks kinda cyber punk ish. This is kind of a small thing, but I suggest you use coal blocks for the road rather than obsidian.

 

Yeah I'm still doubting on the design and color of the road, but I'll experiment with that. Thank you for the suggestion.

 

Alright, a small update.

Haven't gotten as far as I'd like to, perhaps this is due to the lack of w.e., but then again I feel that the build as a whole has a lot more work put into it because of this. So far I've worked on the first building I showed, a bit more, added more road, beginnings of a garage and some outlines for 2 buildings.

I might be making an appearance IF they don't make me use WhizPopBang and let me use elumios instead :p

 

We are planning to make a huge tower in the center with 3 small buildings connected making each one being Codothrow, LSP, and Hippy Testing we also plan a space port and many other buildings

It's an odd sort of theme, as mentioned before I can definitely see aspects of both Victorian and Sci Fi, but I think it looks pretty sweet so far! Looking forward to some more updates ;)

 

It's interesting looking, I like it but something is off putting. I feel like the the blocks should be darker.Like I wan't to say the stone is whats bothering me.

I get what you're saying, but I tried not to go full on bladerunner. But either way I'll be experimenting a bit more with this on Athion before I start a full on city with it (might just make a realistic sci fi city if it really doesn't work out)
