It's nice to almost see the progession of peoples setups through age range, say a younger person won't have to same kinda setup as I do. I worked my ass off in my full time job and all that jazz to be able to afford my current setup but now I kinda want to down size, it's just so large and impractical so I'm considering selling what I have and buying a gaming laptop for it as it would do just the same job but take up 1/10th of the space. People have different requirements :P
True Jones. my setup consists of a laptop a phone and a graphics tablet and yes I do use my phone to control my setup. The while thing costed about 600 for the laptop 600 for the phone and 500 for the tablet Surprisingly the most expensive part is my table and chair costing 1000 and 380 respectively .
My setup timeline (2010-now, today, RIGHT THIS SECOND AS OF 15:59) goes something like this: My first ever 'setup' if you will, was a school laptop, on a pine shelving unit with a 2TB external drive and my Snowball microphone. I sat on my guitar amp ._. Moved house and I bought a mouse and keyboard, used my old 17 inch TV as a monitor (same shelving unit, still sat on an amp) Then I got my first desktop, stole the family desk which wobbled and fell apart, and our old 13 year old 12 inch Proview monitor and sat in a foldable camping chair. Then I bought a chair. Then I got my first MacBook (1st Gen from 2006 hell yeah!) and pummelled my school laptop with a hammer because it hadn't worked in a while. Moved into new home, replaced the wooden desk with a glass corner one we stole from our old house hueheuh Replaced PC case with HAF-12 Plus, got 2 new monitors (Asus VH228D), bought a new keyboard and R.A.T 3 mouse Replaced MacBook with MacBook pro SOLD THE SETUP TO A FRIEND Moved into smaller home SOLD THE MACBOOK PRO Bought a more powerful windows laptop Regretted the windows laptop Got an iMac for my 18th SOLD THE LAPTOP Bought a replacement MacBook Pro Bought a desk Ordered the first of 2 Asus VH228D (I love them, they're great monitors and as cheap as the oxygen you breathe) Awaiting delivery of the monitor this evening ;U; !!
It actually gets the job done really well. Usually have 200+ fps on Minecraft and can play a lot of games.
What laptop are you using? As far as I can say without causing Lord Jobs any disgrace, it looks quite nice :o
There is a channel that posts mostly setup reviews on youtube, usually posts about 4-5 times a week idk. But here is the link if you want any tips or tricks on your own setup --------- https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQmt0Mzh3sBbdPUVxvABNsguwdBKjpbVz ---------- And there are some setups submitted by 12-13 year olds that beat out most older teens or even adults.
All down to preference really, I like how shiny and glowy glowy they are, I'm a magpie for shiny expensive thing ehehe
I've got a weird assortment of decorations i know. XD Pic basically shows everything i like, owls pokemon pirates and feng shui stuff lol.
Feng shui pinyin: fēng shuǐ, pronounced [fɤ́ŋ ʂwèi] ( listen)) is a Chinese philosophical system of harmonizing everyone with the surrounding environment your desk looks cluttered :D
New desk, new setup XD. Same stuff minus the ps3. The desk is wayyyy bigger than the other one I had before. Yes, those are hot wheels on the bottom of the tv XD. And yes that is a dragon on the left speaker. (His name is larry)
Even though I don't live in that specific house anymore, the setup is still the same except for the mouse; I now have a Razer Deathadder Chroma
I apologise for the photo, the screens, the keyboard, the mouse and the mess :) (The screens, keyboard and mouse were all free). I made the PC and mess.
