I may not really be invited into your big words chat, but I think the fact you show someone where they went wrong is ok, its an opinion we don't need to agree but to then after tell them its a shame they are respected is an idea best kept to yourself, I hate to be rude to anyone or make you look like the villain many people we see you as for showing negative views relating to to community. -HippyBomb
@Brennan Nobody asked for an opinion on ThatOldKid's build. They didnt post this, and then ask "what do you think of this build guys?". Again, the server did something nice for a well respected member of the minecraft creative community and new BT member, and Dr. Clay decided to open his mouth and down play the build for no apparent reason. If there was an idea to "keep to yourself" it would have been that. But, I guess based on my own logic I shouldnt have given a positive opinion of the build either. For the sake of not being a hypocrite, I now feel very neutral about the build and ThatOldKid :/ This has been fun though, I dont think I'll say anthing more about this. Happy Turkey Day!!
Well if the staff/administration team didn't want opinions they might aswell have said"NO OPINIONS, PRAISE ONLY" I disagree with clays I think thatoldkid is an amazing builder with a whole load of talent. The way the staff dealt with that issue wasn't very nicely @Mithrintia pretty much destroyed that guy for having an opinion and due to that the entire community suffers (not trieng to down play the server. Still very hyped+I thoroughly enjoy thatoldkids builds and am in no way trieng to reduce hype, I'm just speaking an opinion)
It was a constructive opinion that was then met with personal insults from @Mithrintia. Apparently only his opinions are valid or allowed on these forums. I hope you understand that I was not trying to be negative. I'm quite shocked at how badly my posts were reacted to simply for voicing an opinion that certain people disagree with.
Your comment was voicing your opinion BUT it was worded poorly and gave off the impression of bad mouthing our build team and the quality of our server along with people we are bringing in to be part of the team. Then gloating at if you build you would be better than one of the best builders around without showing proof of the claim. How do you expect a community to react along with an owner who has worked with you when you directly target the core aspect of what Athion will be? For the most part the responses have been civil and constructive back to you as YES you can have an opinion and you are free to but there is a time and place to voice everything.... and this wasn't the place to do so. NOTE: LOCKING THIS THREAD FOR NOW, DR CLAY HAS HAD A TEMP BAN OFF THE FORUMS UNTIL 1ST JAN 2015 TO LET EVERYONE COOLDOWN. REASON "CAUSING CONFLICT WITHIN THE COMMUNITY"
